Cristela is a stand-up comic, writer and producer in the US. Cristela is well-known because of the TV show Cristela which premiered in 2014. She was the first Latina to ever create or write, and then produce, her own program for a television network. She was born in Texas but later relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her career. She has appeared in guest roles on television shows like Sons of Anarchy and General Hospital. She was the writer of the TV series Mind of Mencia. She also hosts and stars on the TV show called 'The View. She has also worked on a number of movies like The Angry Birds Movie. Alanis Morissette.........................Alanis Morissette changed the way female singers were perceived in the world of music. She paved the way for women to embark to the stage professionally, through exposing them to different genres and ways of singing. Her soulful renditions, and her huge popularity on the charts inspired many female singers. Alanis Morissette is a true leader in music and rewritten history in the field of music. Her veins were full of music since she was young. Her first song was written at the age of 10. In her 20-year music career she released eight studio albums which brought her 16 Juno Awards as well as 7 Grammy Awards. Jagged Little pill' sold 33 million copies worldwide, making it to the top two albums of the 90s. It was also ranked in its Women in Rock.
