Shailene has been a popular American actress and activist. She became popular with her role Alexandra "Alex" King, the teen who is suffering from drug addiction as seen in The Descendants. In the wake of her performance, which was awe-inspiring in The Descendants she went on to take on other parts that demonstrated her versatility. Shailene's first career successes within the world of film is impressive. She began her career with TV and commercials, but she soon moved to Hollywood films.
