Her acting career began in theater, before she moved on to the world of film and television. The shows she appeared in included including Dollhouse and Ghosts and Ruby Sunrise Frank's Homes, a Chicago production. She was in numerous films from the mid-2000s such as Then She Found Me, starring Helen Hunt. Michael Clayton also starred George Clooney. She also played Teresa Stowe as well as Rabbi Renannah Zimmerman in Leaves of Grass and Push the Limit in 2009. Siff is well-known in her portrayals of the Jewish department store sheiress Rachel Menken Katz in the AMC drama Mad Men Tara Knowles in the FX drama Sons of Anarchy for which she won an award called the Critics' Choice Television Award for the Best Supporting Actress in the Drama Series twice and psychiatrist Wendy Rhoades in the Showtime show Billions.
